About the Designer
Fashion has always been a part of who I am. I remember at five years old, laying out my clothes for the entire weeks. Dressing up in costumes and trying out various styles are some of my favorite childhood memories, and my love for fashion has only grown over the years.
As I got older, I began drawing and became interested in art . I took many art classes, where I discovered just how much my creative side connected with the world of fashion. One of my most cherished memories is learning how to hand stitch with my great grandmother, a skill I later expanded when a neighbor taught me more advanced techniques for a school project.
At 13, I got my first sewing machine, and that’s when everything truly clicked. When I began making my own clothes, I learning mostly from YouTube tutorials and trial and error. The more I sewed, the more I realized how much I loved it.
In more recent years, I started modeling which opened my perspective of the world of fashion. Being able to model has allowed me to work with many designers and gain experience in marketing, designing, and behind the scenes of the runway. Modeling has always been a passion of mine and helps me feel more connect to the fashion industry.
My goals in modeling and fashion have drastically changed over the years, and are continuing to evolve. The recent launch of my company and showcasing my designs at OC Fashion Week and Fashion Republic Magazine has shifted my focus to perfecting my designs and improving my sewing skills.
I’m incredibly grateful for the success I’ve had on social media, where I’ve shared posts documenting the process of upcycling clothing and designing my own pieces. Without these platform, I would not have been able to launch my company or have my designs featured in multiple runway shows. It is an absolute dream come true.
Modeling has opened many doors for me in the fashion industry, and I plan to continue pursuing it. It’s been a great way to build connections and work with many influential designers.
In the meantime, I’m actively looking for internship opportunities to further expand my knowledge.
